Protect Your Design
If you have a profession as designer for graphic, architecture or industrial product, I am sure you ever requested to show or send your original design sample to the customer just to show your capability. Actually this is a normal situation at the beginning of business cooperation, but may be we ever heard as well the situation when the design was copied and used without any permission from design owner.
This situation is really difficult because there is a cross authority or exactly we can say a robbery of design by other and usually we can’t do anything about it. There are some options to minimizing this case happened, even we understand this is just temporary and impossible to avoid, we make our design in file extension PDF. I am sure most of us understand how important this format, at least to protect our original design.
We can found there is PDF software to do PDF conversion from our original data like CAD, presentation or other format. Actually simple to operate the software and as my experience the method like we are printing the document and finally it will show the result as per our customization setting.
In other side we can use other software to make our design become water marked so it will be difficult to use it in other function or steal the design. If necessary we can make our design become blur so it will not seen clear any more. Any way we can do anything to make sure that no body will steal our concept and use it without our permission. So keep any eye always with your design, because sometime we don’t understand how the value of design is, at least until somebody gives the value on it.
