A fortune in Job Career
When we talk about job and career, there is always thinking that we must reach the career as high as possible. Actually career like a fortune for everyone because nobody can predict when they can get promotion. I have another definition of fortune is not same with lucky because there are two components inside to build a fortune. They are a chance and our readiness because if at the same time we don’t have one of them I am sure we can not grab them fortune for our career. For example we already work hard and always can complete every single jobs but there is no a chance to improve the career because of there is no more position in company, so nothing can we.
If I read the employment opportunities in the newspaper or internet, I always see a high promise of career for people who qualified for the job. Even that promise could be a real promise but the spirit of candidate will always leads the result. That is like a real sample in the beginning of career, there is a vacant as a lucky but if our skill and capability is not good enough the lucky position will gone with the wind off course.
I want to talk detail about our readiness because it’s little bit difficult to predict the career opportunities news. So what make us in unready position? First we have to crosscheck our own capability including all required skill in higher position. We can make a list what can I do to complete multiple jobs? We can write our strength and weakness as well and the solution to improve our self. If you want you can do employmentcrossing reviews with some friend that have same vision to improve their career as well. Let do internal cross check each other and give point for every one’s performance. With this way we can get objective input as our reference to prepare our plan.
After make a planning, try to give the best commitment to do our planning because that’s the main key to grab our target. Don’t forget to pay attention on the time line of improvement, as much as possible we have to complete our target so we can stand with new power to see the future.
